# 1 Simple Matcha Smoothie

This is a perfect recipe for breakfast, easy to prepare, it is not time consuming and it is amazingly tasty, perfect for the entire family. You can even prepare it and go, taking it with you at the office or at school.

You will need:

  • Half a cup of yogurt
  • Two tablespoons of honey or sugar
  • Half a cup of ice cubes
  • A teaspoon of matcha

Preparation:

# 2 Fruity Matcha Smoothie

The beverage is perfect if you want to boost your daily consumption of antioxidants in a fun and very delicious way. We have chosen berries for this recipe, but you can use your favorite fruits, like strawberries for instance or raspberries.

  • Two teaspoons of hot water
  • One cup of milk
  • A ripe banana
  • A tablespoon of honey
  • 4 ice cubs

Preparation:

Start by dissolving the matcha powder in hot water. Then combine all the ingredients in the blender and blend until the mixture is smooth.

 

# 5 Mango Matcha Smoothie

I have found this recipe on Jen’s cooking blog, Eating Clean Recipes, and I have also tried it. It is absolutely delicious and healthy too. It is a recipe perfect for breakfast or for a matcha snack during the afternoon.

You will need:

  • 1 1/4 cups mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened soymilk or low-fat milk
  • 1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon matcha tea powder
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Honey or agave syrup (optional)

Preparation:

Add the mango, the soymilk, the yogurt and the matcha tea powder to the blender container. Cover and blend until smooth. At the end add the ice cubes and the sweetener and blend them with the mixture until smooth.
