I remember I first heard about acai berry tea several years ago, and the friend who introduced me the acai beverage described it as a new and tasty weight loss tea.  Although I wasn’t necessarily interested in dropping pounds, I thought it was worth giving it a try, at least for the sake of enjoying a new tea assortment – yes, I’m a tea addict and can’t help it, I have to test all the beverages out there as there’s always enough room in my kitchen pantry for a new box of delicious tea!

She looked for him until she was too tired to return home, so she laid beneath a tree that was springing from the ground. Legend says Iaca died there and when her body was discovered, the chief decided to name the tree after his daughter. That’s when the fruits of this tree were also discovered, and the chief saw they were tasty and able to satisfy the hunger of the tribe, so the decree to kill the newborns was lifted.
